This bicycle, with its threadbare tyres, has become a mobile truck decoration shop. The brightly coloured stripes are stuck on to the side of trucks and wrapped around their bars, and the pom-poms and tinsel are hung off side mirrors. Along with elaborate and beautiful designs that are carefully painted on by hand, Indian trucks are often spectacular to look at!
It’s a good idea to set up shop here as Om Bana Temple is on a national highway and hundreds of trucks pass every day and night. Drivers are likely to make a stop here to pray for a safe journey.
