A temple in technicolour

What’s this?

I’m very sorry to say that I don’t actually know the name of this temple.  I think it may be the Pazhavangadi Ganapathy Temple (or Ganapathy Temple as it’s more commonly known) in Trivandrum in South India – can someone please confirm or deny?

If it is Ganapathy Temple then I can tell you that it’s dedicated to my very favourite Hindu God, Ganesh – he’s the portly God with four arms and the head of elephant that I wrote about in my very first post: Ganesh – it’s his birthday today!

Of course, what struck me about this temple was its absolutely glorious technicolour!

Where’s this?

Thiruvananthapuram (although it’s commonly known by its former, and shorter name, Trivandrum), the capital city of Kerala. Trivandrum’s on the west coast of India, and almost at its very southern tip.
